Dynetech Employees Select The Russell Home for Annual Giving

5/16/2006

Dynetech Corporation, a local sales, marketing, and technology company, has selected The Russell Home as the charity for their annual corporate giving campaign. Dynetech held a casual day where employees paid $5 to wear jeans as their first fundraiser for the charity on May 10. In one day the Associates had raised $665 which was matched by Janet and Laurence Pino to result in a $1330 initial donation to the Russell Home fund.

“Dynetech’s corporate giving campaign is a vital part of our corporate culture, and the hard work and generosity of our Associates always exceeds expectations,” said Janet Horvath-Pino, executive vice president, who oversees the company’s corporate giving and community relations efforts.

The Russell Home for Atypical Children has been in continuous operation for over 50 years without any government support.  The Russell Home is the only non-profit facility of its kind for severely handicapped children in Central Florida. This home is unique in the fact that no child is turned away and the children are able to stay throughout adulthood. Mrs. Vantrease “Grandma” Russell was the founder of the Russell Home for Atypical Children. On June 4th, 2003, "Grandma" Russell passed away. This great lady will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Her legacy continues to this day in the children that come to know "The Russell Home" as their home.

Dynetech is an Orlando-based, technology-driven sales and marketing powerhouse for worldwide strategic partners. This entrepreneurial spirited company specializes in direct-to-market distribution of proprietary and licensed software, web applications, and training programs.
