Dynetech Corp. was honored recently as one of Central Florida’s largest privately held companies, ranked No. 11 for the Orlando Business Journal’s Golden 100. Dynetech Corp. CEO Laurence J. Pino was profiled in the newspaper’s Golden 100 special edition as one of the “ultimate CEO’s.”
It is the fourth year in a row that Dynetech, honored also by Inc. magazine as one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies, has earned OBJ’s Golden 100 distinction. It is the latest in a string of awards for the successful downtown Orlando-based corporation, which specializes in direct-to-consumer marketing.
“We are proud to be a part of such a distinguished group of business leaders,” said Pino, who led Dynetech to revenue of $236 million in 2006.
To achieve the Golden 100 recognition, companies had to be headquartered in the greater Orlando area, including Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties. The Orlando Business Journal researched more than 200 companies to determine the rankings.
Earlier this year, Dynetech received national recognition when it was ranked No. 16 on Inc. magazine’s fastest growing inner-city companies in America. Dynetech’s innovative strategies have proven successful for its clients through interactive training tools, effective planning of media placement and dynamic live events.
Pino, Dynetech’s charismatic founder and CEO, was a 2005 finalist for National Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented by the accounting firm Ernst & Young. More recently, Pino earned the distinction of being named one of Central Florida’s most influential business leaders by the Orlando Business Journal and Orlando magazine.
Led by Pino, Dynetech is well known throughout the Central Florida community for its community involvement and charitable contributions, including the company’s leadership in area chambers of commerce, the University of Central Florida Foundation board and Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission board among others.
